We are Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse, Kitsap County’s first established Cidery. While the craft breweries are bustling with quality and unique brews, there was a void in the cider community that Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse was happy to fill.
At Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse, we have a vision extending beyond the craft cider we produce which we want to share with the community. The mantra at Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse is “Micro Cidery… Macro Cause.” What this means to us is that we strive to create a business that is a vessel to provide community development and an avenue to help local citizens in need. We implement a business model that produces a series of ciders where a percentage of the profits go to local charities and projects. By re-investing our profits back into the community, we hope to create awareness within our circle of influence that every small action can create exponential gains, and ultimately cause change on a macro level.
